Misty isle-
Around, a mile.
A child,
In exile-
From trials,
That riled.
Found peace,
With guile,
She smiles,
Jovial.
Troubles,
They snarl.

Images, brisk-
In a blink,
Away, they whisk.
Pursed lips,
She reached-
Beyond the beach,
To grip
What's missed.
Safety, risked.

She flees-
Carefree,
Into seas
Of skies;
Drowning,
As she flies;
Tear-filled eyes.
Imagination
Thrives.
She dives.
Joy, sorrow-
Entwined.
Chaotic beauty-
Wordlessly defined.

Wonders,
Swirling;
Memories,
Dancing;
Ideas,
Prancing;
The world-
Swirling,
Twirling,
Curling,
Unfurling,
Converging,
Exploding,
Condensing...

Mind flipped-
Slipped;
Tripped;
World-
Tipped;
Dripped,
Into pit-
Drain,

Alone-
In a room,
Stood
A fool.
Walls-
White and cool;
Upon touch,
Colours grew.
She drew
A world new;
Creativity flew.
Sadly, she knew-
Bliss-
Moments few;
Renewal-
A rule.
